BIOGRAPHY
Tyler J. Hobbie graduated with honors from the University of Virginia in 2022, earning his bachelor’s degree before attending the nation’s first law school, William & Mary Law School, where he again graduated with honors in 2025.
Following the longstanding Hobbie family tradition, Tyler pursued a career in law, spending his college and law-school summers working at the prominent Hobbie & DeCarlo firm, as well as serving with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, where he gained invaluable prosecutorial and courtroom-oriented experience. Through these roles, Tyler developed strong legal instincts and a deep understanding of litigation from both plaintiff and governmental perspectives.
Tyler is currently an associate attorney whose work focuses exclusively on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, including but not limited to motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and complex products liability matters. He brings an aggressive, detail-driven, and strategic approach to every case. Tyler is heavily involved in motion practice, discovery, depositions, legal research, and case development—always with the singular goal of positioning his clients for the strongest possible outcome.
In every matter, Tyler prioritizes accessibility, transparency, and consistent communication, firmly believing these principles are essential to effective advocacy and client trust.
